The Transfer pathways team hosted an informational zoom meeting for Bakersfield College students looking to transfer from BC to four-year California universities on Wednesday April 3, 2024. The zoom meeting was led by Transfer Pathways counselor Rene Deniz and lasted about an hour. In the meeting, Deniz spoke about the benefits of starting your educational journey at a community college and then moving on to a four-year institution.

Deniz also went over the importance of having an educational plan as soon as you start college.

Early registration for Bakersfield College started on Apr. 4, 2024, and open web registration opened Apr. 17, 2024. According to Deniz, counselors will be available by appointment to help students create educational degree plans and to help file transfer forms for UC’s and CSU’s.
