Bakersfield College (BC) shows that it is not only here to help us academically but also to relax and this Aug. 28 they host an event called Game on!

The purpose of this event is that even though this week was a week full of stress because many times you cannot find your room, you come to a place where you can do something do you like, stress disappears for a moment. Abigail Tamayo, director of the student organization informing student organizations said.
It is a really fun way to forget about all the things that stress students out and take some time off, forget about their work for a minute, especially during this week, which is the first week where all that teachers tell them what they are going to do and it’s a lot of information.
This is good for students to make connections and make new friends because it is easier to make friends when you have something in common with them, Samantha Felix said.
This event featured that most popular games like FIFA, which is one that most people play and is incredibly fun and good for passing the time.
But this event was not just for video game lovers. They also had a lot of board games to have fun with, where you could find card games, strategy games and many more in addition to having free snacks it was a fun-filled event where everyone could have fun.
