If you’re looking to see people make complete idiots of themselves, attend the Mark Yuzuik hypnotist show.
Yuzuik doesn’t look like your typical hypnotist. But, then again, what does a hypnotist typically look like? I don’t know, but I do know that I wasn’t expecting him to look like a cowboy.
So this cowboy-looking guy stood on the stage with cheesy relaxation music in the background with a group of participants all willing to be hypnotized.
Yuzuik asked all of the participants to close their eyes and fall into a deep state of relaxation. It never fails, every time that I’ve been to a hypnotist show, one or more persons fall into such a deep sleep that they fall of off their chairs.
This time was no exception: the crowd laughed as participants fell off of their chairs onto the stage floor.
Yuzuik talks to all of the participants out loud but approaches them individually and makes a clicking, snapping noise; this causes the participant to fall into a deeper relaxed state. The participants who didn’t receive a number were to get off the stage because they could not be hypnotized.
And so the fun began. Yuzuik proceeded to give individuals assignments. He made a girl participant think and feel that her butt had been detached off of her body and had rolled off onto the stage.
Every time Yuzuik, touched his forehead this girl would walk up and down the stage picking up her detached butt and would attach it to her body once again. It was really funny.
When Yuzuik, asked her what she was doing, she calmly responded that she was looking for her lost butt. You could tell she was completely out of it.
Throughout the show, participants danced, pranced, spanked and yelled at each other. Three of the male participants were convinced that they were the Pussycat Doll Girls. They all shook their butts on stage like there was no tomorrow completely unaware of what they were doing.
Overall, all of the participants were subjected to doing things they would never have attempted to do without being hypnotized. Watching total strangers being ridiculous is a great way of amusing yourself at someone else’s expense.
The hypnotist show is held two times a day at 7 & 9 p.m. at the 3-Way Chevrolet stage.
