This year’s Kern County Fair offered lots of rides, games and attractions for all kinds of people but this year the fair brought something very special to Kern County. Two rides from the late “King of Pop” Michael Jackson’s home of Neverland Ranch. Butler Amusements bought the rides a couple years ago, but this was the first time they are being shown here in Kern County.
“I was pretty shocked to see rides from the Neverland Ranch its pretty cool” said Paul Roberts local resident.
The two rides are intended for young children but that didn’t stop parents from trying to ride them.”I really wanted to ride these with my daughter. This is a great chance to ride these rides from Michael Jackson’s home,” said Amanda Wifelier a local resident.
“Lots of children were in line. They seemed happy and excited to ride these,” said Danielle Fincsh one of many ride operators. The hope is to bring this ride back to the fair next year where many excited people are in support of it.
“I definitely want to see this ride come back. I didn’t get a chance to see it in person but was excited when I heard it was here,” said Michael Murray, a local resident.
