The Christian Youth Film Festival celebrated its 20th anniversary on March 9 at the Fox Theater.
The festival, whose mission is to “inspire Christian teenagers to creatively express their Christian faith through film,” hosted a screening of various short films created by individuals from middle school age to college. The event also welcomed rising actress Jenn Gotzon and veteran actor Basil Hoffman.
The film festival offered numerous awards, ranging from Best Original Score to Best Application of Scripture.
Collin Baker, Seth Brown, and Jake Devore from Heritage Bible Church received the Best Picture award, which included the biggest cash prize of the festival, for their short film, “David’s Mighty Men.”
