A new challenge called the ‘All in Challenge,’ is an online fundraising campaign to help relieve those who were affected by the coronavirus.
Michael Rubin, 76ers partner and Fanatics, created the challenge which consists of the world’s greatest athletes, actors, performing artists, and others with high platforms, who are auctioning off their most cherished possessions or a once-in-a-lifetime experience opportunity for fans.
The prizes will be auctioned off to the highest bidder, however, some prizes will be auctioned off from $10-25 to give everyone a chance to win.
“If we all work together, I think we can make a huge impact on feeding people,” Rubin said in an Instagram post.
Some of the first celebrities who announced for the challenge were, Meek Mill, Kevin Hart, Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid, Magic Johnson, Alex Rodriguez, and recent Tik-tokers who rose to fame Charli and Dixie D’Amelio.
Since the start of the challenge, the number of celebrities joining in on the movement has accumulated. Michael Rubin has demonstrated that he is ‘All-in’ by presenting his contribution to the challenge. Rubin has presented the participants with a chance to win the ultimate prize of sending the winner and another person to several sporting events including the first game of the NHL Stanley Cup, NBA finals, World Series, a college championship football game, the Olympics, the Super Bowl with 20 of the winners’ friends and much more. “I accept, I’m going ‘All-in’ to help out to raise money for people in need during this difficult time,” Rodgers said.
Grammy Award-winning artist, Ariana Grande, joined the challenge offering fans an opportunity to join her and her team in the studio as she works on producing new music along with dinner afterward. Grande was nominated by Madonna and then passed on the reign to Mariah Carey.
“Thank you for nominating me and I am so excited to be participating,” said Grande. Comedian Ellen DeGeneres donated the biggest donation of 1 million dollars to the fundraiser as well as participating by offering an opportunity to be on her show, “TheEllenShow.” In exactly 4 days the campaign raised over 10 million dollars.
