Steph Saladino was more than happy to talk about the rumor that circled the small town of Tehachapi, CA about there being a connection between Tehachapi Terror and the After School Satanic Club at Golden Hills Elementary.
Tehachapi Terror is a new Halloween attraction in Tehachapi for the past few years. This attraction is a haunted house put together by the residents of Tehachapi.
Saladino states that they “had zero idea any sort of rumor was going around until one of [their] volunteers let [them] know what she’d been hearing.” So obviously the rumors didn’t affect their event for this year since they had no idea about it and “[they] don’t believe the rumors affected [their] event in any meaningful way, as [they] still had a great turnout, and plenty of people donated.”
Steph Saladino teases her husband, making light of the situation after hearing that people believe “that [her] husband was a former cult leader” when in reality her “husband worked for a farm animal sanctuary in Acton” before they moved to Tehachapi, CA in 2020.
Not only is Saladino not part of the After School Satanic Club but she also states “[she] worked for [her] church’s preschool in Palmdale,” before she moved to Tehachapi.
In their free time, Steph Saladino “builds haunted houses and crochet” and her husband “is an independent director/writer/editor and gamer” who also works as a media producer for Marley’s Mutts.
All in all, Steph Saladino and her husband are just “two average people that wanted to bring [their] creative outlets to the community that [they] love, and create an event that could benefit everyone.”
The After School Satanic Club rumor connected to the Tehachapi Terror is disproved by the founders of the haunted house, and there was never a correlation between them, just small town dramatized gossip.
