Baked By B is a Cottage Bakery filled with homemade baked goods. A cottage bakery is a small bakery that is usually at the baker’s home. Baked By B also recently hit 1 thousand followers on Instagram.

This Cottage bakery was originally started when Byanka was around 6 or 7-years old baking with her mother and grandmother for fun on holidays for family gatherings.

Of course, she was not a business owner, but she noticed how some adults she met would use their skills to make money.

Obviously as a child she wanted her own stuff, but because it cost money her parents couldn’t always afford it. So, she started creating bead jewelry in exchange for money and saved up so she could buy stuff she wanted all on her own.

The baking part started when Byanka visited a family friend, who had introduced her to the “make & sell” system and helped her with her newborn child while she baked. Byanka then started baking for money, and not long after had fun learning how to bake new pastries.

Since the business started by making kid jewelry and cookies, her goal was just to make her own money to buy stuff she wanted as a child. But now as a young adult with over 1k followers on Instagram she was faced with the question of: “Do I want to pursue a career as a full time Baker for the rest of my life? Or do I want to pursue a different career?”

She’s hoping to open a bakery or coffee shop in a few years to continue growing her business. But as of the moment she’s focusing on making partnerships with other businesses and furthering the bond with her mother, who is also her co-baker.

Some advice Byanka would give to someone starting up a baking business is to make sure to always manage your time well by scheduling everything, be organized and keep ALL recipes, and of course to never give up.
