Spring Fling week will be held April 20-24, which is sponsored by the Bakersfield College Student Government Association.

Attempts to speak with Gaby Vega, SGA’s activities liaison, on events and activities for Spring Fling week were unsuccessful.

According to the agenda from the SGA regular meeting held on March 13, the appropriation of funds for Spring Fling activities is in the process. Over $9,000 has already been approved for events including $3,800 for a teacup ride rental from Game Rentals. As stated on the agenda, $2,000 has been appropriated for Valley Plaza gift cards to purchase clothes and accessories for a fashion show.

Spring Fling week is an annual themed event that brings activities, food and entertainment on campus during the spring semester. Previously, activities included rock climbing, bull riding and free food have also been provided.
