Bakersfield College classified employees held a protest against Kern Community College District on Jan. 21 in regard to what they feel are unfair wages.

According to Tina Johnson, president of California School Employees Association, employees will continue to rally for fair wages. She said that previous offers by the district human resources department have been “insulting.” Negotiations are set to continue on Feb. 12.
