The Fall season is here and that means it’s time for fall festive. The Patch is a family oriented pumpkin patch that encourages family fun time. The Patch is located on Coffee and Brimhall right behind Frugatti’s.
The Patch cost $5 to enter but kids under three are free. They had a variety of entertainments which included: bounce houses, live music, a petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, pumpkins, games, and nice photo props for taking photos.
The animals they had were donkeys, goats, cows, and ponies that you can pet and feed. The animals were very friendly and waste no time to approach you. There are many bouncy houses to choose from.
There are games like basketball, corn hole, and football that you can participate in to win prizes. You do have to purchase tickets to be able to participate in these fun attractions. Tickets are $1 each or have a bundle of 25 tickets for $20. They accept Zelle or cash and they provide an ATM on site.
They also had food to sell like fruit, chips, hot dogs, tacos, snow cones, and kettle corn along with drinks. There are also toys for kids and things for pumpkin carving that you can purchase there to go along with the pumpkin carving. They provide a sitting area to relax and watch T.V.
It is a nice, small, and comfortable cozy pumpkin patch. Where you can feel the friendly environment all around. This is the second year of The Patch and will be held continuously. They hold birthday parties and school field trips.
The Patch was started by a family in Bakersfield. The family also has another business, Frosty Forest Tree Lot, since 2009 and wanted to expand their business which is why they started The Patch.
