Bakersfield College will be having a ceremony, where they will be unveiling and raising the banner for the 1977-78 BC men’s basketball junior college championship team.

The team will be honored during halftime of the men’s basketball home game against West L.A. on Feb. 8.

They expect to have nine of the 12 Renegade players and their families at the game, including all of the starting players.

Head coach Ralph Krafve, assistant coach Mark Hutson and former athletic director Herb Loken will also be there.

Even though the banner won’t be raised until halftime of the men’s basketball game, there will be a reception held from 6:30 p.m.-8 p.m. on the north side, upper-bleacher floor, above the current team benches and scorer tables.
