The Bakersfield College men’s basketball team defeated Moorpark College 96-78, in round two of the CCCAA second round Southern California regionals.
BC took an early lead and dominated the whole game.
BC was led by Deandre Dickson, who had a double-double (25 points and 12 rebounds). Dickson dominated the paint and Moorpark never had an answer for him.
Nick Velasquez also had a double-double (17 points and 10 rebounds).
The Renegades shot 49.3% from the field for the whole game.
Every BC starter scored in double-figures.
BC will face the winner of Mira Costa vs. Saddleback, who play tomorrow night.
