On March 27 the Renegade Men’s golf team hosted a match at the Rio Bravo Country Club. Bakersfield College faced off against Reedley College who was victorious in this match.

The conditions on the course were rather difficult according to the head coach Wes Coble. With overcast skies and gusting winds, the BC team had a hard match.

The Renegades played above their average despite the loss. Blake Keesey played 75, Nicholas Chacon played 78, Tyson Hayes played 81, Matthew Sakowski played 85, and Matthew Sanders played 87.

The combined team total was 764-813 in favor of the Reedley College Tigers.

“Coach Stark and the Reedley Tigers came to play today… We absolutely enjoy playing the Tigers as they are always a top-notch program,” Coach Coble stated.
